Mitchell Mann has joined an elite cast of Snooker players for the 6 reds tournament in Ireland. The event will be held at the INEC 15 - 18 December.

The format includes only 6 red balls in place of the traditional 15 reds and frames last on average only 7-8 minutes at professional level making it a fast and exciting format. 

The field of 160 players from both the Professional and Amateur ranks will battle it out over four days for the chance to become the 2009 6 Red World Champion and you could be there, competing alongside your sporting hero's this December.The prize fund for the inaugural event will be ‘over €35,000.

As is the case with the Paul Hunter Classic in Germany at the moment, the first two days of the event will see several matches take place during an initial group stage before the tournament reverts to a knock-out format.

Tickets for the first three days event will be completely free, while the final day will cost €10 per person.
