February 9th to february15th
This week I and many other junior players attended pontins playing for the title of junior star of the future an event that has run at pontins for many years and won by some very good players.

The format is simple all players are split into groups and they paly best of 3, I felt I played some solid snooker and qualified from my group as winner. We then moved onto the last 32 in which I would face Liam Highfield who I beat 2 frames to 1. My next match was against Barrie Frankland a match which I won 3 nil.

I was then stoped in the quater finals by friend and eventual winner Adam Duffy, Congratulations Adam!
