Over the next week Mitchell will be joining a crop of talent from around Europe, all of whom will be fighting for one pro place awarded to the winner of the European under 19's championship. Players from Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Israel, France, Romania, the Home Nations and many others have Joined Mitchell in Malta for what will prove to be a tough week of snooker, considering what's at stake.
The format is simple 7 players in each group, a total of 8 groups will play each other.The top 4 players from qualifying will battle it out in a straight knockout.
Mitchell is accompanied by two other English qualifiers, Tom Maxfield, Sam Craigie and Nick Jennings.
